1. “What is the cost of your beach family photography sessions and wedding photography?”
Pricing varies depending on the number of people in your portrait session and how many hours of photography you need for your wedding day. My smallest wedding package is for 3 hours of photography and is $995. The best way to determine what is an adequate amount of time without being rushed is by having a quick phone call where we can discuss the details. I do not believe in high pressure sales.
2. ” I am interested in booking a session and/or wedding photography coverage, how do I book? “
After discussing your specific needs, I create a custom online booking that is emailed to you. Once you receive the email you log in, approve your session, sign the contract and submit your retainer/deposit which holds your wedding and/or session date.
3. “How many sessions and/or weddings do you shoot in one day?”
I only photograph beach sessions at sunrise or sunset, any other time of the day it is simply too bright on our white sandy beaches to take portraits. I only photograph one wedding a day. For beach sessions I can photograph in the morning and again at sunset, but I never photograph a wedding on the same day as a beach sunset session and do not overlap or stack photography sessions.
4. ” For beach photography sessions, do you come to where we are staying or do we meet you at an alternate location?”
Depending on where you are staying during your vacation will determine that… I often photograph in specific locations I choose and that I am familiar with.. for various reasons. For example many resorts have beach chairs and umbrellas that line the beach and prevent us from having the space we need for a clear background. I also try to avoid locations with sky rise condominiums in the vicinity and prefer a more open area. Most of the time, clients will meet me and I try my best to select a location that is close to where they are staying that is also picturesque.
5. ” For beach family photography sessions, what happens if it is raining on the day of our session date?”
I try to leave some flexibility in my schedule for this reason, if your session can be moved to the following day ( if I don’t already have another session booked) and your family is available to be photographed on that day we simply shoot the following day. However if another day is not possible, your deposit is refunded to you.
6. “How many pictures do we get?”
From a beach family portrait session the number varies between 30-60 images with a basic edit. For wedding photography coverage I average around 75-100 images per hour of coverage.
As I tell all my clients, if there are more guests at your wedding there are more people to photograph, if there is a formal reception with decorations/details/dancing there are more items and events to photograph.
